Class XI student stabs head-master, surrenders to the police

A Class XI student of a Tirupathur School stabbed his head-master who had earlier caught him red-handed while copying during an examination. The head-master, who was rushed to the Hospital, is said to be out of danger.
The shocking incident took place yesterday morning at a Govt. School in Tirupathur in Vellore District where the 52-year old Babu is working as the head-master. He reported for duty as usual in the morning and when he was going about his job, the Class XI student entered his room suddenly, stabbed him in the stomach and ear and left the room in a hurry.
Babu fainted immediately and was rushed by the School staff members to the Christian Medical College (CMC) Hospital in Vellore. A case has been filed by the Tirupathur police on the incident.
Hariharan, the student in question, surrendered to the Tirupathur Police later in the evening and confessed to his crime. It turns out that he was enraged to stab his head-master who had earlier caught him red-handed while copying during Chemistry exam which took place last week.
