After a clash of heavy weights in the past weeks, it would be a clash of middle weights this week.

The two movies releasing this week-end are Shekar Kammula's Godavari and Teja's Oka V Chitram.

Godavari comes with a better rating. The songs, set to tunes by Radhakrishna, are simply too haunting and melodious.

Coming as it does from Shekar Kammula, the director of Anand, Godavari has higher expectation riding on it. With Sumanth and Kamalini in the leads, this romantic entertainer is particularly highly anticipated in the urban centers. G V G Raju, the producer, thinks the movie will attract all kinds of viewers.

Oka V Chitram, on the other hand, is typical Teja stuff brzssy and full of zest and energy.

Facing a huge trail of failures, Teja has gone with newcomers to get him back on the rails. The music of Murali is doing well. The film, with the backing of Dasari Narayana Rao, will be another pot boiler.

Pandem Kodi, the dubbed version of the Tamil movie Sandai Kozhi starring Vishal and Meera Jasmine, is also making it to the cinema halls this week-end.
