It has been rumoured that Megastar Chiranjeevi has invested in a school named Chiranjeevi International Schools in Srikakulam. Some media reports have even claimed that this is an indication that the 'Sye Raa' actor is permanently distancing himself from politics.

Siva Cherry, General Secretary of Rashtra Chiranjeevi Yuvatha, has today said that Chiru is no way related to the school. "Neither Chiranjeevi garu, Ram Charan garu or Naga Babu garu has anything to do with the schools. They are mere honorary founders and office-bearers," a statement from the management says.

The school has been established to cater to economically poor kids. "We have always been inspired by Chiranjeevi garu to serve the society," the management added. The management urged everyone not to spread the rumour that Chiru is related to the school in any way.
