After entertaining the audience with their action comedy flick 'Simmba', filmmaker Rohit Shetty and actor Ranveer Singh are all set to return with their second collaboration titled 'Cirkus'. It is clear that Rohit's style of filmmaking fits Ranveer's energy really well and that is why fans are so excited about 'Cirkus'.
The film is based on William Shakespeare's play The Comedy Of Errors which has been adapted several times in cinema. All these adaptations revolve around two sets of twins who get into bizzare and humorous situations. In a recent media interaction, Rohit Shetty stated that his film is going to be very different from any other adaptation of The Comedy Of Errors.
He told PTI, "There have been many versions of 'The Comedy of Errors'. In Bengali cinema, it was made as a black and white film, then ‘Do Dooni Chaar’ with Kishore Kumar... So, it has changed a lot over the years. Our film is a different take."
Also starring Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez among others, 'Cirkus' is set to release on 23rd of December this year.
