Director Dayal Padmanabhan in his first home production has given a passable film. Had he worked very tight on the script with some more interesting twists and turns the film 'Circus' could have been a taut thriller. He is shrewd in his work but what he talks he has not been able to bring it on screen. The whole film lacks the strength of minute to minute gripping narration. Bringing in number of artists he has succeeded in holding the attention. A few of the senior actors without even a single line dialogue have worked for this film.

It is an extreme case of coincidence. The prank created by Dhanush (Ganesh) and gang in writing a letter that on so and so date bomb would explode is the idea sketched by the terrorists for another train Gandhadagudi Express that starts from Mysore railway station. Dhanush and his friends on the way to get the letter they have posted is because the address of the one of the friends is mentioned. That is the RMS bogie of the train. Dhanush and his team fail to get the letter after a rigorous effort but they come to know in the process that Gandhadagudi Express will be exploded. They manage to get the letter they have posted keeping a check at the Railway station master but the task is bigger now. The terrorist gang kidnaps one of the members of Dhanush gang. In the meantime the brief stopover Dhanush and his gang make in the house of Priya (Archana Gupta) is the time for love blossoming in Dhanush and Priya.

Courageously Dhanush prepares himself to nab the hideout of the bomb that he finds it in a cradle of a baby inside the train. Since he knows electrical work Dhanush disjoint the wires to get rid of the bomb. So far keeping quiet the anti terrorist team arrives at the last minute.

Ganesh excel once again in this different kind of subject in his career. He has a tough task and worked hard. Archana Gupta in her debut Kannada film looks pleasant and has good screen presence. Seniors like Gurudut, Avinash, Dharma have no task to perform.

Emil knows the need of today. He has given three melody tunes and Pisugudale..written by Yogaraj Bhat is best among all. Shekar Chandru camera work is very attractive. The top angles and hiding of the camera in some place for the result is exceptional.

Not a bad entertainer for the week end!
