Veteran cinematographer Priyan who has worked in all most all the film of director Hari including 'Si3' that released yesterday will be emerging as a director soon if what we hear from sources are true.

Sources reveal that Priyan will soon direct a film that will have versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. S.Nandhagopal of Madras Entertainment banner is expected to fun this project.

Vijay Sethupathi is currently busy with multiple projects and this gets added to the long list. The official announcement can be expected soon. It is worth noting that Vijay Sethupathi has already committed to play the lead role in '96' which will mark the debut of 'Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom' cinematographer Prem Kumar as a director.

Priyan made his debut as a lensman with the 1992 film 'Va Va Vasanthame'. He has handled the camera for director Cheran's films 'Porkaalam', 'Desiya Geetham' and 'Vetri Kodi Kattu' and director K.S.Athiyman's 'Thotta Chinungi'. He is also the cinematographer of Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 'Velayutham' and Vishal's 'Thirmuru' and 'Thoranai'. However Priyan is best known as Hari's go to man for cinematography. Priyan is the cinematographer of all the films directed by Hari from 'Tamizh' to 'Si3' except the Dhanush-Tamannah starrer 'Venghai' which had the lens work of Vetri.
