Director Lucky Shanker is trying his third film in a social message format connecting the masses. He made 90 Kannada film and that received wonderful publicity and cash registers started rolling, 'Devaraana' another popular word among the masses was also convincing.

Even before the release of the film the generation of public opinion on 'Cigarette' is on ill effects of cigarette smoking. That is put up in the You Tube shows the concern of the director. In addition to it the 22 languages words picked for a song also points to ill effect on cigarette smoking.

He is now with a title 'Cigarette' hitting the silver screen on 11th of December. He has compared the film 'Cigarette' to love. He means Cigarette and Love both are injurious. With a message Lucky Shanker in his film also gives a congratulatory song on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Actor cum director Nagashekhar is seen in the film with lip lock with actress Rakshita Ponnappa has given up smoking and then reduced his weight to appear before the camera. The film also has mother and son bondage.

Indrasena has composed music. Malur Srinivas has acted with Neha Patil in one of the songs. Roopasri, Rakshita Ponnamma, Shakeela, Sadhu Kokila, Rockline Sudhakar are in the cast of 'Cigarette' that is releasing in 70 theatres.
