Good news- Google’s going to strengthen Chrome’s security with its next release.

Bad news- For sites which are using old Symantec HTTPS certificates. Chrome is not going to trust over 1 million of such websites. And it includes several Indian government sites as well.

Some sites have upgraded to newer certificates while many haven't still taken steps. Though this change may not mean immediate blocking of sites it could mean disturbing, annoying pop-ups that might irk those who are worried about security.

Few sites like Ferrari and solid works were on the list, but have now changed to new certificates.
