One of the 100 days run films in Kannada in 2017, Chowka 50th film of Dwarakish Chitra is hitting the small screen on 23rd of July at 6 pm in Udaya TV.

This film is with very popular points in the minds of audience has four layer story featuring top stars Premkumar, Diganth, Prajwal Devaraj and Vijaya Raghavendra, there are heroines with big names Priyamani, Deepa Sannidi, Aindrita Ray and Bhavana Menon(now in controversy) in the cast. Popular comedy actor Chikkanna is common factor for all four layers of script starting from 1986 to 2017.

Challenging star Darshan is in guest role of this film in a tough action sequence. It is TharunSudhir's debut as director is a multi-starrer film that has a great supporting cast and a message for the youth about their contribution to the society.

The film initially kicks off in the city of Bangalore in 1986, followed by 1995 in Mysore, 2000 in Mangalore and 2007 in Vijayapur. The present day is depicted in 2017, in the Central Jail of Bellary and ends in the SuvarnaVidhanaSoudha premises in Belagavi. The story depicts the journey of four youngsters from four different eras end up in jail for no mistake of theirs. However, they reconcile to their fate until they meet an old man in jail (Kashinath) who is also wrongly jailed. He inspires them to not waste any more of their lives and built a strong hope within them and also stirs up a passion towards reform is the tagline of the story.

Chowka` is a film with five music directors V. Harikrishna, V. Sridhar, Arjun Janya, Gurukiran and Anoop Seelin and five cameramen have worked for this film.

Since the audio launch the Chowka film songs are the other high points. From the emotional “Appa I Love You “to the foot tapping “Alladsu” is declared as chartbusters and was one of the fastest trending Kannada songs of 2017.
