Acclaimed choreographer Johnny Master, known for his work in Pan-India films, has found himself embroiled in a controversy involving allegations of misconduct and union disputes. The issue came to light after a dancer named Satish filed a complaint against him at a police station and released a video detailing his accusations.

In response, Johnny Master, in his capacity as President of the Telugu Film and TV Dancers and Dance Directors Association (TFTDDA), held a press conference alongside other union members, vehemently denying the allegations and outlining the context of the dispute.

Johnny Master's Defense:

Johnny Master asserted his innocence, claiming to be committed to the union's development and the welfare of its members. He emphasized that the allegations against him were baseless and that he would leave the industry if proven wrong. He highlighted his efforts in securing land for the union, advocating for health insurance for dancers, and resolving internal conflicts.

He pointed out that he had been facing significant challenges since assuming the presidency, including the ongoing election code in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the recent Ramadan period, and the ongoing initiation process for new members. He refuted Satish's allegations, stating that the dancer had been fined for violating union rules and that the penalty was imposed after due process and deliberation by the committee.

He further alleged that Satish was being instigated by others and was attempting to damage his reputation.

TFTDDA Members Rally in Support:

The TFTDDA General Secretary, Srinu Devara, defended the union's procedures, stating that Satish had violated their established rules and bylaws. He emphasized that the association prioritizes internal resolution and has a history of resolving issues fairly.

Alisha Master, a prominent choreographer and wife of another union member, corroborated Johnny Master's account, detailing Satish's outburst against the president and his refusal to accept the committee's decision. She also alleged that Satish was being financially incentivized to spread false accusations against Johnny Master.

TFTDDA founders Somaraju and L Venkateswara Rao expressed their confidence in Johnny Master's leadership and his commitment to the union's growth and prosperity.
