Chiyaan Vikram currently has multiple projects in pre-production, shooting and post-production stages in his pipeline. Now, it is being reported that Vikram has decided to reunite with his previous film director while the combo's first film isn't released yet.

Director Ajay Gyanamuthu made his directorial debut with 'Demonty Colony' with Arulnithi and later made the superhit film 'Imaikka Nodigal' with Nayanthara and Atharvaa. Now, Ajay is working on Chiyaan Vikram starrer 'Cobra', his next project which is in the post-production stage and the release date is expected to be officially out soon.

According to the sources, Vikram is reportedly planning to star in Ajay Gyanamuthu's direction one more time and the announcement of this brand new venture will be made soon. The 'Raavanan' actor will start shooting for his second film with Ajay once he completes the shooting of his immediate next, 'Chiyaan 61'.

Chiyaan, who recently completed shooting for 'Ponniyin Selvan', will be shooting for 'Chiyaan 61' (tentatively titled 'Maithaanam') next, directed by Pa Ranjith. On the work front, Vikram is working on the post-production of Mani Ratnam's magnum opus 'Ponniyin Selvan 1', which is scheduled to release on September 30.
