Kollywood is set for a major box office clash during Pongal 2025, as several high-profile films gear up for release. Director Shankar's 'Game Changer', starring Ram Charan, has already secured a release date of January 10th. Additionally, fans are eagerly awaiting either Ajith Kumar's 'Vidaamuyarchi' or 'Good Bad Ugly' to hit cinemas on Pongal.

Adding to the excitement, Chiyaan Vikram's 'Veera Dheera Sooran' and Karthi's 'Vaa Vaathiyaar' are also eyeing the same holiday weekend. 'Veera Dheera Sooran', an action-packed drama directed by SU Arunkumar of 'Chithha' fame, is currently in the final stages of shooting in Madurai, with plans to wrap filming this month. The makers are aiming for a Pongal 2025 release.
