Gautham Vasudev Menon's spy thriller 'Dhruva Natchathiram' is a long-delayed film starring Chiyaan Vikram as the secret agent John. The production commenced in 2016 and it was shot in seven countries. It languished in production hell since then owing to GVM's financial constraints.
Meanwhile, we informed you earlier this year that Gautham and Vikram resumed the film's works. We broke to you that Chiyaan Vikram has completed dubbing for his portions. The latest is that Gautham has opened up about the project's current state in a recent interview. He revealed that the movie is progressing towards theatrical release.
In the interview, Gautham confirmed that Chiyaan Vikram and other stars have finished dubbing for Dhruva Natchathiram, as we reported earlier. He added that the plans are underway to release the film in 3 months if they get a proper release date and the VFX works were started this week. The director stated that he is also eagerly waiting for the movie's release.
Dhruva Natchathiram stars Vikram, Ritu Varma, Aishwarya Rajesh, Simran, Raadhika, Parthiban, and Dhivya Dharshini among others, while Vinayakan is said to be playing the antagonist. It features music composed by Harris Jayaraj, whereas the editing is done by Anthony. The cinematography is handled by Jomon T. John, Santhana Krishnan Ravichandran, Manoj Paramahamsa and S. R. Kathir.
