'Dhruva Natchathiram' is an ambitious action film by Chiyaan Vikram and director Gautham Menon. The team revived the project last year and wrapped up the pending works earlier this year after being in production hell for nearly 6 years. The movie is coming out on November 24 and the final trailer debuted on the internet today.
The 2.5-minute action-packed video opens with the visuals of the 2008 terror attacks in Mumbai. We see two characters talk about the delay in India's counterattack during the time and discuss the need for a secret intelligence team for our country. A covert team named 'The Basement' which isn't controlled by any law and procedures is introduced to us.
The Basement is a team of eleven specialised spies that comprises Chiyaan Vikram, R Parthiban, Simran, Sathish Krishnan, Dhiva Dharshini, Maya Krishnan, Vamsi Krishna, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Munna Simon, Salim Baig and a surprise star. Vinayakan plays the powerful villain who abducts the head who formed the basement and is sure to steal the show. Harris Jayaraj's musical score and Yannick Ben's stunts were phenomenal.
John (Vikram) sets out to rescue his team head along with others while we get a glimpse of John's personal life with Ritu Varma. Another highlight of the trailer is when Gautham Menon makes a sudden appearance and utters a stunning dialogue. Like the previous trailers, this final one is impressively cut by Anthony with superb visuals from Manoj Paramahamsa, SR Kathir ISC and Vishnu Dev.
