Chiyaan Vikram one of Indian cinema's most passionate and intense actors has tested positive for the COVID 19. It is said that the doctors have advised him to isolate himself at home as his symptoms are mild and does not call for hospitalization currently.

On November 22nd legendary actor Kamal Haasan also was affected by the coronavirus and he was hospitalized for more than ten days for treatment. Now another leading actor also affected is a strong warning to the people that the virus is very much around and it is important to continue all precautionary measures such as social distancing and masking up.

Vikram has completed shooting for Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan' and Karthik Subbaraj's 'Mahaan' which are expected to hit the screens one after the other in the first quarter of 2022. His other film 'Cobra' directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu has a few days of shooting left after which Vikram will begin work on his next directed by Pa. Ranjith and produced by Studio Green K.E. Gnanavelraja.
