The long awaited trailer of Chiyaan Vikram's 'Cobra' has just been unveiled and it promises to be one hell of a roller coaster ride for fans. The visuals show a mysterious Maths teacher played by Vikram who seems to assume multiple forms and involve in nefarious activities internationally.
The highlight of the 'Cobra' trailer is of course the multiple getups that Vikram dons to perfection in the film that include a hippie, a black American and a Chinese man. The clip opens with Chiyaan's being tied upside down and tortured and the sinister laugh he breaks into the end sets things up nicely. There is a 'Anniyan' like moment when Vikram pleads with his captors that he is just a mere mathematician.
The 'Cobra' teaser while underlining the various identities the hero assumes does not forget to emphasize that it is going to explore a mathematical mind in action. Isaipuyal A.R. Rahman's intriguing background score enhances the international feel of the film and so does the cinematography, editing, stunts and the production design.
Seven Screen Studios and Ajay Gnanamuthu and team have sure delivered a highly enticing trailer that more than does the job of taking the expectations of 'Cobra' to its peak.
'Cobra' has Vikram and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead with Irfan Pathan, Roshan Mathews, Robo Shankar, Miya George, Kanika, Mrinalini Ravi, Padmapriya and K.S. Ravikumar. The film releases in theaters worldwide on August 31st.
