Chiyaan Vikram's son Dhruv Vikram made his debut as hero in 'Aditya Varma' in which he garnered all round praise for his performance as the hot headed hero who sinks into alcoholism after his love breakup. The film directed by Girisaaya was the remake of the blockbuster hit Telugu movie 'Arjun Reddy' that catupulted Vijay Devarakonda as a top hero.

Dhruv Vikram has shared a video on his Insta which shows that there is a shot in 'Aditya Varmaa' in which Vikram has acted though he is offscreen. In the film Dhruv's character would be studying in a medical school in Himachal Pradesh and he would be in the library when someone would inform him that a person (heroine Banita Sandhu) has come in search of him and Dhruv would ask him who and reply would be "I dont know". It is as that person that Vikram has acted and the shot is a part of the song "Thooram".

Dhruv Vikram has shared the shot of his dad acting with him in 'Aditya Varma' and has captained it "My most memorable shot from AV". The film had cinematography by Ravi K Chandran with music score by Radhan.
