Pa. Ranjith after the critical and commercial success of 'Sarpatta Parambarai' has completed a small romance flick 'Natchathiragm Nagargirathu' starring Kalidas Jayaram and Dushara Vijayan. He is gearing up to shoot his next biggie 'Chiyaan 61' starring Vikram in the lead.

Hot official updates on 'Chiyaan 61' is out now and foremost among them is that G. V. Prakash Kumar has signed on to score the music and this will be his first collaboration with Pa. Ranjith. Producer K. E. Gnanavelraja in his exclusive interview to us revealed that the period project has the biggest budget in his career and a 3D version will also be released.

The ace producer added that the shooting for 'Chiyaan 61' will begin on July 15th and continue for about two months.
