'Chitralahari' Teaser: Fun-filled film in store

The short teaser for 'Chitralahari' gives the impression that director Kishore Tirumala is not going to dish out a regular format this time around. Just as his 'Second Hand' had atypical characters/template, this one too may well be in the same league.
Vijay (Sai Dharam Tej) wallows in self-pity perhaps. He is sulking and has grown a thick beard but he very much retains the on-screen glamour of the Telugu hero to an extent. Kalyani Priyadarshan may be a bumbling girl. Nivetha Pethuraj is that confident, working professional who thinks all men are dogs. After a long time, Sunil may finally have got to play the kind of role he is most comfortable in.
Add to this list the likes of Vennela Kishore, Posani Krishna Murali and Brahmaji, one is tempted to believe that 'Chitralahari' will be a breezy film.
Devi Sri Prasad is on board and his songs may come with minimalism this time. Srikar Prasad is the editor. Karthik Ghattamaneni has cranked the camera.
The film will hit the screens on April 12, a safe day after the elections in the Telugu States.
