Popular VJ turned television serial actress Chithra got engaged to businessman Hemanth Ravi in a private ceremony in Chennai. Due to the coronavirus lockdown only close family members and friends of the couple attended the simple function.
Chithra has clarified that there is wrong news going around that her fiance Hemanth Ravi is the owner of a marriage hall in Thiruverkadu Chennai. She has also stated that her parents arranged the marriage after seeing a lot of prospective grooms and she is happy to enter into the new relationship.
Chithra has added that her wedding date will be fixed later after discussion between both her and Hemanth’s parents.
Chithra first made her debut as VJ in Makkal TV anchoring a legal show in 2013 and has grown from strength to strength to become one of the leading serial actresses. Her performance as Mullai in ‘Pandian Stores’ telecast on Vijay TV has made her a household name and gained her many followers on social media as well.
