Megastar Chiranjeevi debuted on Twitter on Wednesday to mark Ugadi.  It has been more than 24 hours and the legendary actor has got less than 1,45,000 followers at the time of writing this piece.

Given the humongous popularity of the 'Sye Raa' and 'Acharya' actor, the follower count is abysmal.  What explains the low count?

The buzz is that Chiru's digital media is pending the follow requests of folks for reasons best known to them.  When Chiru's Twitter ID was revealed, the account was a protected one.  As such, your follow request has to be accepted for you to be able to follow Chiru.

It's a puzzle why they had to make the account a protected one in the first place.  The house may soon be put in order but, until then, the hurt of Chiru's fans and admirers is going to be a reality.

The question is: Does Chiranjeevi know about all this?  It has been this strange and seemingly, there is no change in the way things are going about.
