Rajasekhar gets flak too

While the incident has generated sympathy towards Rajasekhar and family, the turn of events have also resulted in Chiru fans criticizing Rajasekhar for his lack of punctuality and he not being a Telugu hero.

They said he could not even speak proper Telugu and hence had no moral right to say that Chiranjeevi was incompetent to enter politics.

However, Rajasekhar too stood his ground all along and counter argued that he had every right to say what he felt politically.

He pointed out that he did not make any comments about Chiranjeevi, as a star. Rajasekhar also said that he failed to understand why Chiru’s fans behaved the way they did as he had given a simple answer to a simple question. Apparently, Rajasekhar was asked if he would join Chiranjeevi’s party if he ever set up one.

To this, Rajasekhar said he would not be joining that party. This was followed up by the question as to why he would not join the party. And to this, Rajasekhar said he would not be joining it as Chiranjeevi did not have enough experience in politics.

Rajasekhar had said as a part of the press conference that he did want to get into politics some day, but was as yet undecided about which party he would be joining for now.

The rest as they say is now history.
