Speaking at the pre-release function of Srirastu Subhamastu yesterday evening, Megastar Chiranjeevi invoked late Allu Ramalingayya. "Today is his 'vardhanthi'. So, it's our dharma to remember him on this occasion," he began his speech.

Srirastu Subhamastu is the title of a Chiranjeevi film. "I don't know what is the rationale behind this title. It's the title of my film, directed by Katta Subbarao. When I came to know this title, I felt very happy. It's under Geetha Arts that I have acted in the maximum number of films as well as in the maximum number of hits. It's my sheer fortune that I have found a producer like him. He always keeps himself updated. It's his perseverance and determination which have made him what he is today. It's because he knows what the audience wants, that success is always his", Chiru said.

He gave a pat on director Parushuram's back. "I have watched the first copy. The director has made in such a way that the emotions are sure to arrest the audiences. The conflict between a rich father and a son is portrayed very well in this film. This one will surely find takers among the middle class. The dialogues will get special applause. I was reminded of Bommarillu while watching it".

About Sirish, the Megastar said that he had always thought Sirish will become a producer and not an actor. "Sirish would always talk about the business made by a film. When he suddenly revealed that he wanted to be an actor, I told him that he was welcome. He is not in a hurry to make films. He wants to unveil himself in a new way every time," Chiru added.

If he had a word or two for Lavanya Tripathi ("She is looking more beautiful in this film"), Chiru once again selected his next film's music director publicly. "One gets addicted as one listens to Thaman's music. I have asked him to reserve tunes for my 151st film", he said.
