While almost everyone in the industry, barring Mega family's rivals, are keen on being seen even if it's for a second in Chiranjeevi's 150th film, someone who parted ways with Chiru after Mechanic Alludu more than two decades ago, now has the golden opportunity to play an interesting role in this VV Vinayak directorial.

It's none other than Vijayashanthi, who, as Chiru's co-star, scorched the scenes in early '90s with her excellent dance moves. Popularly called as Lady Amitabh Bacchan for her ferocious portrayal of angry young woman's roles, the talented yesteryear actress fell out with Chiru during the making of the blockbuster film Gang Leader. After the film's release, she publicly said that she won't act with the Megastar ever again. Since she had signed Mechani Alludu by then, she honoured the commitment, never to be Chiru's lady lead again.

Curiously, Chiru has evinced interest in working with this actress, who turned to politics a decade ago, but never to have had a great run.

There is an interesting role cut out for a middle-aged woman in the script. We presume it's an ideal woman's role. Chiru felt that Vijayashanthi would be apt for it and he expressed the same to Vinayak, who played ball. According to our sources, Vijayashanthi has liked the role but is yet to sign the project.
