Megastar Chiranjeevi was all praise for director Boyapati Sreenu. Speaking at the audio success event held in Vizag, Chiru said, "I appreciate the dedication, energy and perseverance of Boyapati Sreenu. Normally, superstars don't remember their associate directors. But I remember how Boyapati Sreenu cleared my doubts when he was an associate director of Annayya. He is the C/o address of mass cinema."

Chiru further said that he can portray sentiment and action without losing the grip. He said that Boyapati will give a new meaning to the term "mass director". "When he narrated the stories of Simha and Legend to me, I gave some suggestions. But when he narrated the story of Simha, I didn't open my mouth. I told him it will become a big hit for sure," he said.

He also revealed that there is a chance of him acting in Boyapati's direction after his 150th movie.
