As is known, Niharika Konidela has found her soulmate in Chaitanya Jonnalagadda, an eligible bachelor who works as a business strategist for Tech Mahindra in Hyderabad. While Niharika's family has been into the film industry, Chaitanya's father J Prabhakar Rao is Guntur’s Inspector General of Police.

How did the two families come to reach this alliance? Is it a love marriage?

Facts are slowly tricking in. First things first. It's not a love marriage. It's an arranged marriage. “The kids don’t really know each other. We met their family last week and decided that the two of them are perfect for each other," the groom's father has told Times Of India.

How did it all happen so fast? The buzz is that the force behind the alliance is none other than Chiranjeevi, Niharika's babai.

It's learned that Chaitanya's maternal grandfather Guna Venkataratnam and Chiru's father Venkat Rao Konidela were good friends. Chiru knows J Prabhakar Rao because of his father. Their association has been on for years. Since Rao is a top cop, he has had access to the Megastar for many years.

Recently, Rao is said to have spoken of his son casually while on a call with Chiru. After the 'Sye Raa' actor came to know that Rao was searching for a suitable woman for his son, he made a proposal. Chiru asked Rao if he would consider Niharika. The IG said yes!

When the two families met informally recently, the Niharika-Chaitanya duo struck an instant rapport. They look made for each other!

Going by his LinkedIn profile and some of his Instagram posts, Chaitanya is extremely talented and career-oriented. The 29-year-old guy has an entrepreneurial mindset and holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business.

Their engagement is likely to take place in August, while the marriage may happen either in the last leg of this year or early next year.
