The first ticket of 'Darshakudu' has been gifted to Megastar Chiranjeevi by the makers.

"It feels new and amazing to me. I convey my heartfelt thanks to the team of 'Darshakudu'. Director Sukumar is the backbone of this movie. We all know how big a hit 'Kumari 21F' was. One should appreciate the team work and how Sukumar's brothers are the producers of this film. At a time when he is a top director, Sukumar is also hunting for new ideas and making films as a producer. What am I to the industry, is what he thinks. He founded Sukumar Writings with the aim of encouraging upcoming story-writers, directors, and artists," Chiru said.

"The film's director (Jakka Hari Prasad) was Sukumar's colleague as a lecturer. It's praiseworthy that the latter let him direct his own story," Chiru added.

"We see a director only as a name in a film. But what are his emotions, shades, and state of mind wouldn't be known to us. 'Darshakudu' seems to tell us those things. A director doesn't just tell a love story but also has a love story in his own life. I think there must be something in this film that is related to Sukumar's life. I think that's why he wanted to produce this film," the Megastar said.

He described Ashok as a hero material. "I wish him all the best," the 'Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy' star said.
