The South Indian film industry was shell shocked yesterday (June 7th) after hearing about the untimely demise of young actor Chiranjeevi Sarja aged 39. He was hale and healthy and had no prior ailments and was said to have speaking to his dad on the cellphone in Bengaluru when he suddenly developed severe chest pain and was rushed to the Apollo hospital there. But passed away without responding to treatment.

Chiranjeevi Sarja is the nephew of Action King Arjun and after ten years of being in live married actress Meghana Raj in 2018. The 'Kadhal Solla Vandhein' heroine who has acted in several films in Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu became pregnant early this year and is in her second trimester.

Relatives of the couple have stated in the media that Meghana and Chiru were eagerly awaiting the birth of their first child but unfortunately, death denied him the opportunity to welcome his little one into the world. The last rites of Chiru will be held today (Monday, July 8th) in Bengaluru.
