Speaking at the pre-release event of 'Rangasthalam', Chiranjeevi in March 2018 said that he regards Vizag as his second home where he would like to retire peacefully. "Whenever I am here, I am reminded of the hit songs I shot here for movies like 'Challenge', 'Abhilasha', 'Aradhana', and 'Gharana Mogodu. People here have a beautiful heart," he said.

Nearly five years later, the Megastar reiterated his promise of making Vizag his home - in fact, his first home. Speaking at the 'Waltair Veerayya' pre-release event on Sunday, the 'Acharya' actor revealed that he has bought a piece of land in Bheemili on the way to Vizag. It's there that he will be building a spatial house and retiring peacefully a few years down the line.

The 'Bhola Shankar' actor owns a sprawling house in Hyderabad. His son Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni also live there along with his mother. The Vizag home will emotionally endear him to his Vizag fans further.
