Father-son duo Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan have recently wrapped up a schedule of their forthcoming film Acharya at JK-OC Mines, Yallandu. A leaked still of Chiru and Charan dressed in the Army attire went viral on social media. The latest update is that Chiranjeevi and Charan will be seen as Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) jawans for a brief time and director Koratala Siva has reportedly shot those portions in the recently concluded Yallandu schedule.
"Chiranjeevi, Charan and a few members of their naxal gang pose as CISF jawans to release the tribes who were held captive in the open cast mines. How they set these people free makes for an interesting watch," says a source from the production unit.
The film showcases Chiranjeevi as a carpenter-turned-naxalite, who fights against all odds to safeguard natural resources. Also featuring Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hegde, the shooting of Acharya is currently progressing at Dharmasthali village set in Kokapet. Produced under Matinee Entertainments in collaboration with Konidela Productions, Acharya is releasing on May 13. Music of the film is by Mani Sharma.
