Chiranjeevi on Tuesday kicked off the promotions of 'Godfather' in style. He took to Twitter and put out a short audio clip of him saying that he may have quit politics, but politics hasn't left him.
'Nenu rajakeeyam nunchi dooranga unnanu. Kaani rajakeeyam nanunchi dooram kaledu,' the 'Acharya' star is heard saying in the clip. Since he has mouthed the latter part of the sentence in a dramatic fashion, it is safe to assume that the line is cinematic and not related to his real life.
The line may well be a dialogue from his upcoming political action drama, which is a remake of the Malayalam movie 'Lucifer'. While many would like to believe that the line has got a 'metaness' to it. His character in 'Godfather' could well have 'meta' shades.
Later today, the lyrical video of the first song from 'Godfather' will be out. It has been shot on Chiru and Salman Khan.
The film, directed by Mohan Raja, will hit the screens on October 5.
