Speaking at the special event held to celebrate the success of Sarrainodu`s audio, Megastar Chiranjeevi said, "There are two reasons why I have come to attend this function. One is Geetha Arts and the other is Vizag. I have a special relationship with this place. I have shot here in Vizag for super hit songs like Yurekha.. (Abhilasha), Indhumadhana. (Challenge), and Bangaru kodi petta.. (Gharana Mogudu). Whenever I am here, I thus become nostalgic. I want to spend my life post retirement in Vizag. I want to have a permanent residence here in Vizag, "he said.
"Allu Aravind is the same in his perseverance. He constantly keeps himself updated. He is making successful movies in Telugu and Tamil. Knowing Bunny`s talent well, I made him do a bit role in Daddy. I am proud to say that I was instrumental in creating that urge to become an actor in him back then. Getting opportunities is one thing. Making the most out of them is another. I tell the Mega fans only one thing. They have to believe in themselves. I am happy that they respect my words, " he said.
"I am seeing evolution in Bunny`s acting. I am happy that Bunny has got many fans even in TN, Kerala and Karnataka. At a time when I was feeling that there hasn`t been a subtle performance from Bunny, Gona Ganna Reddy in Rudrama Devi came as the answer. In S/o Sathyamurthy, he did a settled performance. Same in Race Gurram," he said.
Chiru said that he is eager to watch the film as it`s a voora mass` character. "I am eager to watch this movie."
About Srikanth, he said, "Srikanth is like my brother Pawan Kalyan. I am happy that he has done this character in a film made by my family members."
Chiru was all praise for Aadhi Pinisetty`s willingness to act as a villain in Telugu despite being a hero in Tamil. He also praised Thaman.
He finally appealed to the two Telugu States. "Our film industry should prosper in both the States. The govt has allotted land at Chitrapuri Colony. The industry is ready to shift base there."
