Chiranjeevi on Vijay Deverakonda, 'Attarintiki Daredi' sentiment

The success meet of 'Geetha Govindam' was held on Sunday. Megastar Chiranjeevi was the chief guest. He spoke at length.
Seeing your (spectators') energy, I am confused whether this event is mine or Vijay Deverakonda's, Chiru began his speech, addressing VD's fans as Rowdy abhimanulu.
I have come here despite my busy shooting schedules. We actors are what we are only because of you. As far as audiences are concerned, they don't make any distinction between big and small movies. In the past 2 years, Tollywood is doing great. Both big and small budget movies are doing well at the box office. It is a happy thing, Megastar said.
Allu Aravind was doubtful as to whether the audience will accept Deverakonda in a sober, soft, heroine-fearing role after watching him in a film like 'Arjun Reddy'. I told him that 'Vijetha' had come after films like 'Khaidi', at a time when I was an action hero. But it brought me close to the family audience. In the same way, 'Geetha Govindam' is helping Deverakonda to become an all-class hero. This one is a landmark film for him, Chiru added. Notably, Chiru screamed the 'Em matladtunnav raa' line without taking the cuss word. I can't use that word, Chiru laughed, adding that 'Arjun Reddy' didn't attract all sections of audiences.
It's 'Khaidi' that gave me star status. In Deverakonda's case, 'GG' is doing that. He is one of the star heroes now. While he enjoys this success, he should now be cautious (in what kind of films he does), he said.
He praised writer-director Parasuram for making a short line into an engaging film. He has accomplished himself with this film. I appreciate him for delivering this big hit, the 'Sye Raa' actor said. He described producer Bunny Vas as someone who can spot good stories. It's he who convinced Deverakonda to do this movie, he said.
Rashmika has shown anger in the movie in a composed way. Chiru appreciated Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, and Subba Raju.
Allu Aravind garu was tensed that about 90 minutes of 'GG' was leaked days before its release. I told him that my brother Pawan Kalyan's 'Attarintiki Daredi' too was leaked in the same manner but it went on to become a blockbuster. I asked him to see it sentimentally.
Although I said these words just to make him feel better, I was sad that the content was leaked. The film industry gives jobs to lakhs of people. How fair is it to do piracy, which is nothing but loot? Chiru asked.
