Megastar Chiranjeevi is revelling in the success of 'Waltair Veerayya'. Even after the second weekend, the mass masala action entertainer is going robust at the box office. About 25 fan shows were organized in the US on Sunday to cater to the enthusiasm of Mega fans there.
On the occasion of the special shows, the 'Acharya' actor interacted with fans over a Zoom call. On the call, the 'GodFather' star took potshots at those media houses who rated the movie with a paltry 2.25 stars on January 13.
"They gave our film a 2.25 rating. Our movie ended up generating a revenue of $2.25 million in the US. It took time for me to understand the inner meaning of 2.25 stars," the legendary actor said in a semi-mocking tone.
'Waltair Veerayya', directed by Bobby Kolli, has been one of the most down-voted movies by film critics. While some reviews went to the extent of giving it a 3-star rating, the general range was 2.25 to 2.75 stars.
Starring Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan and others, the film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
