The Telugu Cine Production Executive Union on Sunday held a Cine festival in Hyderabad. The event was graced by Megastar Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu, among others. Prominent spiritual leader Chinnajeeyar Swamy, Minister of State Kishan Reddy, Superstar Krishna, veteran actor Krishnam Raju, Angry Star Rajasekhar, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Jayaprada, Sumalatha, Jayasudha, Roja Ramani, Jeevitha Rajasekhar and others graced the occasion. Among the younger lot, Sundeep Kishan, Raashi Khanna, Regina Cassandra, Pragya Jaiswal, Pooja Hegde and others were seen.

Speaking on the occasion, Chiranjeevi said, "I am happy that the Union is celebrating its silver jubilee function today. I know how hard the executive managers work on a film. They are part of the process right from the time a film is launched till the time it hits the screens. Executives are like the roots of a film. They don't get to sleep properly during the making of a film. I know this well especially because of 'Sye Raa'."

Mahesh Babu thanked the efforts of executives on the occasion. He also said that there would be no film industry but for distributors and other market players.

The event was marked by an energetic performance by Devi Sri Prasad.

Earlier, ace producer Dil Raju donated Rs 32 lakh to the Union.
