Chiranjeevis Love Story speech wins everyones hearts

The pre-release event of 'Love Story' was held on Sunday evening. Chiranjeevi was one of the chief guests at the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Chiru said that producer Suniel Narang is a smart producer and exhibitor. "He is a dynamic businessman who has changed the fate of theatres and multiplexes in the Telugu States," the 'Acharya' actor added. He praised Naga Chaitanya, whom he described as a calm and focussed person.

About Sai Pallavi, the 'Godfather' actor said that he had watched her first in 'Fidaa'. "Her dancing skills, her acting stunned me. So much so, I couldn't watch Varun Tej. I was totally focused on Sai Pallavi. I am happy that she rejected 'Bholaa Shankar', in which she was offered the role of my sister. I would like to dance with her. I can't call her a sister. I hope her combination with Naga Chaitanya in 'Love Story' will become a rage," Chiru said.

Sai Pallavi took the opportunity to reveal that she rejected 'Bholaa Shankar' only because she finds it hard to act in remakes. 'BS' is a remake of the Tamil movie 'Vedalam'.

Chiru then praised Sekhar Kammula's unique directorial style. "He is a wonderful director. He doesn't divert his subject in the name of commerciality. His films reach the audience without fail," the 'Sye Raa' star said.

The Megastar said that the film's cinematographer C Vijay Kumar is like his brother. Kumar's son Pawan Ch is the movie's music director. "I am going to watch 'Love Story' twice just for 'Saranga Dariya'," Chiru said.

Chiru touches upon the most serious issue:

"The success rate in the film industry is very low. Lakhs of people are directly and indirectly dependent on the film industry for their livelihood. The pandemic has rendered them vulnerable. We have always been there to help out the people whenever calamities have struck. Such an industry is now in the doldrums. I urge the governments of AP and Telangana to show mercy on the industry. The industry is not just about the four-five heroes who take high remunerations. I courteously request the governments to address the issues being faced by the film industry. We are not greedy. We are needy. If these issues (low ticket rates in AP) continue, we would continue to find it hard. 'Acharya' is completed but we are concerned about its revenue potential in the current circumstances. Please bring out the required GOs to address the issues."
