Chiranjeevi lends voice for 'Rangamarthanda'

'Rangamarthanda' has got a new feather in its cap. Besides featuring an ensemble cast comprising of the versatile Prakash Raj and Ramya Krishna, the drama will see Megastar Chiranjeevi's voice-over as a narrator.

On Tuesday, acclaimed director Krishna Vamsi took to Twitter and shared a pic of the 'Acharya' actor in a dubbing studio. The film has been in the post-production phase. The 'Khadgam' and 'Nakshatram' maker added that Chiru lending his voice is a crowned lightning on the sky of 'Rangamarthanda'.

Also featuring Shivatmika Rajasekhar, 'Pushpa' actress Anasuya Bharadwaj, playback singer and actor Rahul Sipligunj, Aadarsh Balakrishna, Brahmanandam, and Tanikella Bharani, the film is a remake.

What is the film's premise? The drama depicts the tragic family life of a stage actor who has retired from acting but is unable to forget his fond memories of theatre and the stage. Produced by Abhishek Jawkar and Madhu Kalipu, its music is by Maestro Ilayaraja.
