Chiranjeevi-Koratala film to have an 'outdated' backdrop?

Megastar Chiranjeevi may be playing the role of an ex-Naxalite in Koratala Siva's film, some reports say. The naxalism backdrop will be crucial but not the sole shade of the film.
There was a time when mainstream heroes did do films that romanticized naxalism. But, in the new millennium, the radical ideology of the comrades has lost its sheen in the Telugu States. As such, the changed socio-economic realities make the backdrop of the Chiranjeevi-Koratala film look rather outdated.
But Koratala is a smart director. He knows how to handle things and he can be trusted not to commit any blunder, especially with a big star like Chiru. In 'Bharat Ane Nenu', he relied on the idea of local self-government as verbalized by the lead character. So, he must have scripted the Chiru film, especially the naxalism episodes, with much care. Also, he is a moderate and may not portray the naxal ideology in a glorious light.
