It's known that renowned doctor Kakarla Subba Rao, a feted radiologist, died this morning at the KIMS Hospital in Secunderabad. He was undergoing treatment for age-related ailments. The news is that Megastar Chiranjeevi has condoled the demise of the first director of NIMS.
Taking to Twitter, the 'Acharya' actor said that he is saddened at the passing of Subbarao. "Not only an eminent radiologist, but #DrKakarla was a visionary and turned NIMS into a premiere medical institution in the country. My deep condolences to the family! His 96-year-old life was complete. May his soul rest in peace!" the actor tweeted.
It's said that NT Rama Rao played an instrumental role in cajoling him to take up the role of NIMS' director.
Condoling the demise of the Padmashri recipient, Suresh Productions tweeted, "His ambition to provide medical care to all was unequivocal. Our heartfelt condolences to all his well wishers. May his soul rest in peace (sic)."
