Today, Kollywood actor Ponnambalam revealed that he has received a helping hand from the 'Sye Raa' actor. The legendary star recently transferred him an amount of Rs 2 lakh towards medical expenses. The versatile actor, who is not unfamiliar to the Telugu audience, underwent a kidney transplant operation.

Revealing the news, Ponnambalam today released a video clip in which he profusely thanked the Megastar for the timely help.

"Namaskaram to Chiranjeevi annayya. The amount you had sent me has come in handy. I will never forget your help. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Jai Sriram," the artist said.

In another news, Megastar Chiranjeevi has decided to set up Oxygen Banks in the Telugu States. It's learned that the legendary actor will reach out to the oxygen needs in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Ram Charan will steer the mission, helped ably by the fans of the Mega family in each of the districts.
