The mournful 'Thoduga Ma Thodundi' from 'Balagam' is quite popular. On YouTube, it has clocked more than 12 million views already. Composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, the song is rendered by Mogiliah with Komaramma. Mogiliah, who has a thorough knowledge of Telangana folk culture and music, had recently undergone an eye surgery.
The news is that Megastar Chiranjeevi came forward to sponsor the surgery. The 'Waltair Veerayya' star voluntarily contacted 'Balagam' director Venu Yeldandi and offered to take care of the folk singer's medical expenses.
Mogiliah and his family members are grateful that Chiru's noble gesture has relieved them of financial burden.
Chiru will next be seen in 'Bholaa Shankar', which will hit the screens on August 11. Directed by Meher Ramesh, the film stars Keerthy Suresh as Chiru's sister. Tamannaah Bhatia is playing the heroine. AK Entertainments, which is soon going to have a theatrical release in the form of 'Agent' (on April 28), has produced the movie.
