Ahead of the release of 'Sye Raa' on October 2, Chiranjeevi has started being in the news. He has spoken to a Telugu-language daily about a range of issues. Importantly, he expressed confidence in Pawan Kalyan's ability to rev up Jana Sena.
"Politics is a long haul. Failures of this degree (referring to Jana Sena's debacle in the recent elections) are only to be expected. I have confidence in Kalyan's calibre. I hope he will take his party on the path of victory," Chiranjeevi said.
As for the BJP trying to rope in him, the Megastar didn't categorically refute the rumour. In the absence of strong condemnation from him, the perception that he and other Kapu leaders from Andhra Pradesh will eventually join the BJP and strengthen it will only go up from now.
About his son, Ram Charan, who is producing 'Sye Raa', Chiru proudly said, "Charan is the biggest achievement of my life and I am sure he will take my legacy forward. I am happy that he has done what I couldn't in my long career. He has done a 'Magadheera' and a 'Rangasthalam'."
