Being a politician, actor Chiranjeevi has said in his tribute to J Jayalalithaa that it was to the late leader's credit that she increased the reservations to 69 per cent. Chiru has hailed the efforts to duck judicial review by placing it under 9th Schedule.

Importantly, her government raised the quota to 69 per cent in pursuit of social justice.
