Megastar Chiranjeevi on Sunday had some fun time with cricketing legend Kapil Dev and a few other acquaintances at the famous Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad. After the meeting, the 'Acharya' actor took to social media and described Dev as his old friend.

"The exquisite Falaknuma Palace setting made it even more special. Travelled back in time at multiple levels and fondly recalled old memories. He is very much the Haryana Hurricane who won us our first World Cup," the actor tweeted.

In October last, former India cricket captain Kapil Dev suffered a heart attack and underwent angioplasty at a private hospital in New Delhi. He recovered fast and has been doing fine.

As for Chiru, he is shooting for Mohan Raja-directed 'Godfather' these days. Meher Ramesh's 'Bholaa Shankar' will go on the floors a few months from now. A film with director KS Ravindra (Bobby) is also confirmed. The film's first poster was released recently.
