Multi-lingual artist and comedian Potti Veeraiah died on Sunday at 73. The news is that Chiranjeevi, who was always supportive of Veeraiah, has extended profoundest condolences to the bereaved family of the departed soul.
“Veeraiah went on to act in 300 movies despite insurmountable personal and professional challenges. The news of his demise is a matter of grief,” the ‘Acharya’ actor said.
It has to be recalled that Veeraiah oftentimes profusely thanked Chiranjeevi’s interventions for the welfare of poor cine artists and workers. It’s learned that the ‘Sye Raa’ actor once helped him financially when he was ill. Chiru extended a monetary contribution of Rs 2 lakh. Veeraiah was also grateful to the MAA for its interventions.
The late actor’s last rites will be performed on Monday in Suryapet district of Telangana.
