It's known that choreographer Siva Shankar has been undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad after he caught coronavirus. The news is that Megastar Chiranjeevi has done his bit to help the family of the critically-ill patient tide over the crisis.

A source says that the 'Acharya' actor was moved after coming to know that Siva Shankar's condition is critical. His team contacted the patient's family members, who have been at AIG Hospital in Gachibowli. "Unfortunately, Siva Shankar's wife has had to be at home because she too has tested positive for Covid-19. The choreographer's elder son, too, has been undergoing treatment for Covid-19," the source adds.

Siva Shankar's younger son, Ajay, has stated that his family is incurring a heavy expenditure of Rs 1 lakh per day towards the treatment. After Ajay urged film industry elders to help his family out, Chiru's team immediately reached out to him.

The 'Bholaa Shankar' star assured Ajay that his team will always be there for his family during the treatment. "I thank Chiranjeevi garu for this generous gesture. As immediate assistance, he has given Rs 3 lakh. My father admires him a lot. He recently met with Megastar on the set of 'Acharya'," Ajay said.
