Megastar Chiranjeevi can be trusted to have a slip of tongue every now and then. Back in 2018, at the pre-release event of 'Rangasthalam', the 'Sye Raa' actor did a gaffe by revealing that Aadi Pinishetty's character dies in the movie. That kind of disappointed many because Chiru gave away the pre-climax itself.
Yesterday, he committed another flip flop by inadvertently revealing the title of his upcoming movie. Speaking at the pre-release event of 'O Pitta Katha', Chiru took director Koratala Siva's name and immediately reeled off the word 'Acharya'. When the crowd erupted into loud cheers at this, Chiru realized his mistake and asked, "Hasn't the title been revealed officially?" When Brahmaji, Uttej and others on the stage gestured a big 'no', Chiru smiled and apologized to Koratala. "The director must have planned to reveal the title in a special way by holding an event. I have watered down his plans today," Chiru said.
'Acharya' reportedly stars Mahesh Babu in a very big cameo. There is a rumour that the 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' star will be seen sporting a thick stubble as a student leader in the movie.
