Chiranjeevi contracts COVID-19; Reveals health status

Megastar Chiranjeevi on Monday revealed that he has tested positive for coronavirus. The legendary actor underwent a test for the virus ahead of the resumption of the shoot of 'Acharya'. The test came back negative.

The 'Sye Raa' actor said that he is currently asymptomatic. I have quarantined myself at home. Request all those who met me in the last few days to also undergo covid tests. Will update you on my recovery soon, Chiru said.

Last month, Naga Babu and his wife got cured of COVID-19. With Chiru testing positive, the shoot of 'Acharya', which was to happen from today, has been postponed.
