It has been 45 years since Suman became an actor. In the decades gone by, he has acted in multiple languages, including Telugu.
On Wednesday, Megastar Chiranjeevi put out a video of himself congratulating the versatile actor on completing 45 years. Addressing Suman as a brother, Chiru described the actor's decades-long journey as a spectacular one. "You have done hundreds of movies in 10 different languages. It is a fantastic achievement that speaks volumes about your commitment and versatility. I wish you many more glorious years as an actor. May you entertain millions of audiences and of course your audiences, too!" the 'Waltair Veerayya' actor said.
On February 16, a felicitation ceremony will be held in Mangalore to celebrate Suman's illustrious career.
Suman began by doing Tamil movies in the late 1970s. As a non-Telugu, he took cautious steps in Telugu cinema in the following decade. Once the family audience started loving him here, there was no looking back. Family hero roles, angry man roles, negative roles, and semi-comical ones - Suman excelled in a variety of roles in the 1980s and 1990s.
In 1997, Suman sprang a surprise by playing Lord Venkateswara in the classic 'Annamayya'. 'Gangotri', 'Sri Ramadasu', 'Sivaji: The Boss', 'Leader', and 'Legend' are among his noted titles in the new millennium.
