Speaking at the pre-release event of Sye Raa's Tamil version in Chennai, held today, Ram Charan excluded confidence. He said that his father, Megastar Chiranjeevi, had said at the time of 'Racha' that he would work with Tamannaah Bhatia after he makes a comeback to movies. "With 'Sye Raa', that stands fulfilled," Cherry, who has produced the film on a huge budget, said.
The 'Rangasthalam' actor was all praise for Vijay Sethupathi, who has a key supporting role in the magnum opus. "I was moved to tears watching his performance in the climax of '96' (Tamil). I could feel his performance," Charan said. Chiru too was all praise for the actor, saying that he immensely likes him.
He and Chiranjeevi thanked Kamal Haasan for lending voiceover to the film. Charan also revealed that Aravind Swamy has dubbed for Chiru in an angry way.
Tamannaah revealed that she has a powerful scene with Nayanthara in the movie.
The film will hit the screens in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil (theatrical rights valued at Rs 7.5 Cr), Kannada and Malayalam on October 2.
